The Dock is a new and different way for young people to find out about services that are here to help them in Swindon. From Wellbeing to college, e-safety and getting involved in volunteering, there are lots of people available to support you in your next steps.
You can find these teams through the themes like Health and Relationships at the top of the homepage or via the name of the service, or the search bar.
Just want to browse?
Then check out the articles on a range of topics from health and wellbeing, to keeping active and getting involved.
Not just info: get some advice or support
As well as the info on people ready to help and the articles around the whole site, you can use the quick access tabs on the side of every page to get in touch about yourself, a friend or relative to fast track to an appointment with the team that is best for you.
In an emergency
We understand in some very difficult situations you or someone you know will need the help of one of the emergency services. If the matter is urgent then contact the emergency services by calling 999 or by contacting Childline
Designed by young people
The website has been designed and created by the amazing Create Studios team of young designers working closely with the ideas of young people from across Swindon. Special thanks to students from New College, St Joseph’s School and The Oakfield Project who fed back during the pilot stage to make sure The Dock is fab for everyone!
Thanks also to the dedicated teams who wanted their services to be available via The Dock and who worked with Create Studios and young people to turn the idea of a one stop Swindon Dock for young people’s support to become a reality!
