Out of the Can is a safe space for LGBTQ+ young people where you can be yourself and meet others like you without having to worry what people might think or say. It’s based in Swindon and runs two weekly sessions on Tuesday evenings where people play games, learn about queer history, take part in cool science activities, get creative with a variety of arts & crafts, and much much more!  It welcomes all LGBTQ+ young people and has a diverse group of members representing different ethnicities, abilities, and neurodiversity.

Group Times

Out of the Can’s first group is for anyone in Year 8 – Year 10 (Ages 12 – 15) and runs from 5pm – 6:30pm.  Its second group is for anyone in Year 11 – College (Ages 15 – 19) and runs from 6:45pm – 8:15pm.

Out of the Can has lots of interests and does a range of fun activities throughout the
year, including: table tennis/ card games, learning about queer history, cool science activities, arts & crafts projects, film/ pizza nights, and halloween party and it attends Swindon & Wiltshire Pride.
